Hello Colors, I missed you!

So after a few months of working only in black and white, I finally got to the books and other projects that will be done in color. Hello Summer!

Exhibition in Bratislava's Asil Gallery!

Until June 17th you can come and see my works in Bratislava's Asil Gallery on Stefanikova street. The exhibition is called Ilustrovisko and it has been done together with two other great illustrators Katka Ilkovicova
and Evka Svrckova.

It seems I'm done for this semester.That's me in the last picture waiting for the jury to come evaluate my work. This was probably the 4th hour of waiting. I really tried to be patient.

Characters for a Cookbook









 

These are some characters I lately made for a cookbook that I am working on. The cookbook is intended for kids aged 0-6, well, more likely for their parents. Unfortunatelly, these were rejected so I am working on a new set of characters. I love these anyways :-)

I finally got myself to uploading new work. This is a brochure (16pgs) that I made for Firo travel agency. It is supposed to entertain the kids while on a vacation with their parents. Have quite a lot of experience with that, haha. Click to enlarge the pictures!

An unexpected break

I wasn't planning on taking a break this time of a year, but here it comes! I've been sick for a few days already and I probably won't be able to upload new works any time soon. Oh well.

I have realized two important things today: First, when I tried to look myself up on google, the first thing that comes up is my flickr account. Which I haven't updated in two years! What a shame. The other thing I realized today, is that I have spent most of this week updating stuff! Which is important, but in the end I just found myself feeling bad about creating nothing this week. So it's going to change tomorrow. And I sure will update it later :P

Interview for KID

 

I am very glad to say that I have had an interview and a few of my works published on a website of a project called KID. KID is run by people who care about children and want them to spend some quality time creating something etc. They also publish profiles of illustrators, inform about children books, films or free time activities for children. I have been watching them for some time and really like what they're doing. Here's the link:
