Slovenská klasika Žabiatko od Ľudmily Podjavorinskej
V tomto roku som sa veľmi potešila rovno dvom spoluprácam s vydavateľstvom Buvik, ktoré sa u nás na Slovensku zamierava výhradne na detské knihy. Keďže z dielne Buviku vychádzajú iba kvalitné tituly, nezaváhala som ani na chviľu a kývla ako na knižku Básnička ti pomôže od Daniela Heviera začiatkom roka, tak na slovenskú klasiku Žabiatko od Ľudmily Podjavorinskej. Žabiatko vychádza v novej podobe po 26 rokoch. Ilustrovať takéto texty je vždy za odmenu. Ak popritom ešte aj mám voľnú ruku, je to splnený sen. Ďakujem!

Sneak peek from a new book!
I kept a little quite lately, but I really had a good reason - I started working on a project that I have been keeping in my mind for a looong while. To be honest I haven't felt so happy working on a book for quite some time - I get up every morning rushing to my studio and sit there coloring these spreads until late night. I can't show you more, but it is a dream job to me and I really hope it shows!

All The Birds You Can Imagine
I went through the Auzou sticker suitcase which I have blogged about earlier here. And I have to say I haven't realized how many bird species I illustrated in the process! Still, I had so much fun creating them, that I didn't even pay attention to the amount of work I had to do - ha! That's a winner, right? Outer Space!
I wish I had more time to take care of this tiny blog of mine. Just completed a really neat space themed sticker book for the wonderful folks at Pat-a-cake with great support of my beloved agent Doreen at Good illustration agency. Can't believe it was my first illustrated book of 2018 and I already feel there is no chance I will have as much fun with any other upcoming projects. (no, really, I bet there are will be great things to work on) This book was a blast and I really wish the tiny readers will find it cool as well. Any publishers who are looking for an illustrator to work on a space themed project (best case scenario - animal characters), please send me an emai! Ha! Les Saisons book by Auzou soon!
I am so proud to show a little sneak peek of my most recent work for the wonderful French publisher Auzou. This seasons book is a part of the Mon Animagier series and Auzou has already produced quite a few books in the pack. I think it must be a blast for every little kid to have one of these (I know I would enjoy this quite a lot!) since it is full of moving mechanisms and flaps. Les Saisons book should be available online in a couple of months, I'll keep you posted!
Christmas Exhibition in Piestany, Slovakia
Big news! Next week, we'll be opening a lovely holiday exhibition based on my book Christmas Around the World in Piestany here in Slovakia. The concept was created by Kristina Hroncekova, www.kristinahroncekova.sk/ who is an absolute master in designing exhibitions. Not to forget the wonderful Gitka Galova, who's so persistent with her ideas in the Piestany Library. If you'll be around, don't forget to stop by, the whole thing should last up until January 2017. Was so happy yesterday to find my packaging illustration in stores finally! Did a series of these together with the fabulous studio Pergamen from Slovakia earlier this year and it seems they are now out and about. Love it!
